Who is it for: For anyone who would like to have their first experience with yoga or practitioners of other yoga disciplines who want to try Tantra yoga.

The group: This is a group of up to 10 people, and we add individuals to form a complete group. You can join any of them, regardless of the number of participants. There are no additional charges for solo travelers since they will share rooms.

Accommodation: In this course, we will sleep in a rural house in the mountains of Chiva with all the facilities for this type of course. Bathrooms and rooms are shared.

Diets: Full board with a balanced vegetarian diet, creating menus with fresh, organic products that consider what our bodies need for daily activity.

In the case of allergies or dietary intolerances, clients should notify TaoTrips at the time of booking the course. TaoTrips will try to adapt the course’s diet or communicate if it is impossible.

Recommended equipment and clothing: Along with this information, you can find the recommended equipment for the course. Talk to Taotrips, and we will advise you. Although there will be a first aid kit on-site, each person should bring what they consider necessary depending on their conditions, personal cases, risks, etc.

Activities:

Tantra yoga: This physical and mental discipline helps us balance our bodies and minds. It also helps us manage stress and improve our quality of life. In this retreat, we will cover the basic concepts of this practice and how to apply them to our daily lives.

Acroyoga: This physical practice combines yoga and acrobatics. We will perform movement sequences in pairs and groups. Previous experience is not necessary, and you don’t need to come with a partner to the retreat. Since it’s an introductory level, we will work with simple and fun sequences to explore what acroyoga has to offer.

Mindful eating workshop: We will discuss the importance of what we eat and how we eat it for our health.

Forest bathing: A mindful walk in nature.

Aerial yoga: A style of yoga in which we perform positions in an aerial yoga hammock. This practice facilitates stretching and inverted positions and particularly strengthens the arms, shoulders, and abdomen.

Yin yoga: A relaxing style of yoga characterized by holding positions for an extended period (3-5 minutes or more) with the help of cushions and blocks. By relaxing the muscles, we work on our joints, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.

Yoga nidra: A style of yoga in which guided relaxation develops your awareness, memory, and induces a semi-conscious state of deep relaxation.

Kirtan: A practice of bhakti yoga that can be used as meditation. It involves reciting mantras (in Sanskrit) accompanied by instruments such as the shruti box.

Sound bath: This practice consists of relaxation enveloped in the sound and vibration of Tibetan bowls, quartz bowls, and other instruments that will immerse you in a relaxing sound journey.
