Cancellations by the Participant and/or Trip Cancellation:

If, for any reason, you need to cancel the reservation, you must do so by email to taotrips@gmail.com.

If you request cancellation at least 30 days before the event date, we will refund 100% of the deposit in the form of a voucher that you can use for any of our retreats.

If you cancel the reservation within 30 days before the retreat or event, the reservation deposit will not be refunded.

If the reservation is canceled after the full amount has been paid, a refund will be made for the second payment only if the request is made at least 15 days in advance. If requested later, no refund will be issued.

COVID-19: If the retreat is canceled due to any health restrictions, a voucher for the amount paid will be issued, valid for any TaoTrips retreat.

When a refund is applicable, it will be processed via bank transfer to the original account within a maximum of 30 days from the cancellation request. However, depending on circumstances, efforts will be made to process the refund sooner.

  • If the customer does not show up for the trip at the agreed-upon location, time, or with the necessary documentation, the entire contracted amount will be forfeited.
  • The specified percentages indicate the amounts that may be charged to the customer in case of cancellation and/or trip cancellation. However, it should be noted that the non-refundable expenses to suppliers mentioned above will not be reimbursed by the agency under any circumstances.

The consumer of the combined travel may transfer their reservation to a third party, requesting it in writing at least 15 days before the trip’s start date, unless a shorter period is agreed upon in the contract. The transferee must meet the same requirements as the transferor, generally required for the combined travel, and both will be jointly responsible to the Travel Agency for payment of the travel price and justified additional costs of the transfer.

In cases where the Organizer conditions it, and expressly specifies it, the viability of the combined travel offer depends on a minimum number of participants. If this number is not reached, resulting in the trip’s cancellation, the user will only be entitled to a refund of the total price or amounts paid, without the right to claim any compensation, provided the Agency has notified them in writing at least 10 days before the scheduled trip start date.

In cases of transferring a seat where an air ticket has been issued and notified to the customer, the agency is not obligated to cover the costs of changing the ticket holder or purchasing new air services. The joint parties to the transfer must cover the issuance of new air tickets.

1.1 If you want to change the reservation for another event, it can only be done between 40 and 30 days before the reserved event.

1.2 VOUCHERS: TaoTrips vouchers can be used within two years, always for the voucher’s value. If the voucher is from a reservation, it can be applied to another reservation but not to the full payment of the event.

  1. Cancellations by the Agency: Force Majeure

The agency may cancel the departure of a trip due to force majeure, which includes all situations beyond the Organizer’s control that could make the route impossible despite acting with due diligence. In both cases, the consumer is entitled to a refund of the amounts paid, except for management fees and expenses communicated as non-
